DescriptionLetter dated October 10 1915. Dolgorukov writes from headquarters of the alarming situation in the Balkans. He explains that the Austro-German's are driving into Bessarabia in preparation and Romania will thus be encircled and forced to agree to conditions imposed by Germany. He also writes of recent appointments such as Grand Duke Pavel Alexandrovich now commanding the 1st Guards Corp and Professor Rein being appointed as Chief Director of Health Administration.
