Letter from Prince Dolgorukov to Count Benckendorff
Letter dated May 21 1916 written from the General Headquarters of the Imperial Army. Dolgorukov writes with news that matters are going badly in Italy but that the Serbian Division has been going well although this success cannot be relied upon. Contradictory telegrams have been received on the outcome of a sea battle the truth of which is still unknown and many visitors have passed through the headquarters recently including Trepov and Mosolov en route to the Caucasus and Volga, and also Naumov and Sturmer.
