Letter from Prince Dolgorukov to Count Benckendorff
Letter dated August 8 1916 written from the General Headquarters of the Imperial Army. Dolgorukov writes that a telegram has been received from Tatischev regarding the desire of the Japanese Prince Kaniko to be presented to the Empress Dowager Maria Feodorovna, she has agreed and the Japanese will travel to Kiev to see her. Dolgorukov also writes that he is very grateful for the presence of Gebel who has been helping him with administrative matters.
