DescriptionLetter dated August 9 1916 written from the General Headquarters of the Imperial Army. Dolgorukov discusses details of administration and speaks about Maximovich who tries to be everywhere such as at tea and on walks, Dolgorukov doesn't think he is very clever. He then goes on to talk about the Rubinstein case which is currently under investigation saying that Sturmer does not approve of these arrests and that Voyeikov and Nilov openly stated in the Tsar's presence that Rubinstein had worked for Germany. He also mentions his own position where he has temporarily become Palace Commandant.
