Africa: these include photographs of the YMCA's work and its workers in British East Africa and elsewhere and views of Magersfontein Plain including the grave of General Colley who fell at the Battle of Magersfontein in 1899.
America: these include photographs of YMCA huts, centres and facilities for troops in America and also specifically for American troops in Europe, particularly of the Eagle Club for American Officers in the Strand, London, and of graves of American soldiers in Europe.
Miss Lena Ashwell concert parties: these comprise photographs of YMCA concerts and performers, including outdoor concerts in France, which were organised for the troops under a scheme which was run by the British actress and theatrical manager.
Australia: these include postcard views of the Australian Auxiliary Hospital at Harefield, Middlesex.
