Description
Black and white photograph of games taking place at a Lena Ashwell Garden Party in Cairo. Featured in the photograph are military personnel stood in a circle so as to create space for the game. The group are wearing British tropical hats and convalescent uniform known as 'Hospital Blues' or 'Convalescent Blues', consisting of a white shirt and blue button up jacket, red tie and blue cuffed trousers. In the background of the photograph are palm trees and bunting featuring the Union Jack among others.
