|Existed as an informal organisation to help the various mission publishing bodies. [Mission statement]: 'Through correspondents in all Muslim lands this committee promotes co-operation in making and distributing Christian literature. In the Near East it acts as the Literature Committee of the Near East Christian Council'.
|Literature and records of the organisation were circulated by Constance E. Padwick, CMS missionary, and Miss K. H. Henrey, evangelistic missionary, acting jointly as Editorial Secretary, during its existence from circa 1934-1942.
